Intermission
Things are a bit slow here at the moment, for which I can only apologise, but they'll be back up and running soon enough. It's a combination of having been to Paris (which looked a bit like this)
having written some stuff over at New Statesman, which I would love you to go and have a look at if you like - the latest post about Rio Ferdinand and celebrity stalking is here - and general apathy, a bit of sluggishness, dizziness, nausea, and a few other things which we needn't dwell on. Oh, and also I'm trying to put a book of blogposts together, which is taking some time, but I hope it's going to come together nicely in the fullness of time; and I'm adding extra stuff and new bits and pieces to that, as well.
You get to a point, after a while, when you're rowing your wire coracle through the media midden, when you reach the kind of place that 5cc came to the other day; a bit of wondering about how often you can be quixotic about the whole business and taking stock of where the blogging is going. I can sympathise completely. Which isn't to say that I'm going to stop writing about stuff, because I'm not. It's just that there are other things I need to be getting on with in the meantime.
But I will be back shortly on here, with something fresh and new and that. So thanks for the patience, and all that. And keep reading the NS stuff, if you like, because it means a lot to me.

Hello there Mr Vowl. Let me assure you that i haven’t missed Enemies too much. I wrote a while back bemoaning the fact that your NS blogs were a little tame. This is no longer the case. The erstwhile journal is now being introduced to a new vocab. Sorry, sounds like a “Littlejohn for PM” comment in the DM.
I would like to see your take on the WDHChristian story. A lot of these Christian pressure groups (ie CLC) are linked to the Tories. Wakefield is also my back yard.
