Doing a book
One of the things I'll be doing with my impending career break (that sounds nicer than 'rocking back and forth on a park bench, shouting at pigeons', doesn't it?) is collating a few of these blogposts to put together in a book. Which hopefully someone might buy to keep me in baked beans. Obviously it won't just be old blogposts - I'll add some new stuff, footnotes, etc etc - it's going to be great, I promise. Hope. Something.
Anyway, if there's any posts you think should be there, then let me know (via comments or email). The 'newspaper fisking' ones or ones involving pictures of front pages etc are a bit problematic due to having to reproduce copyrighted stuff, so I'm a bit wary of doing anything along those lines; but all suggestions are welcome...

I hope you are going to reserve a chapter to look at Troll comments and another for responses to individuals in the news…

You should talk to a lawyer about fair use. Particularly since you would be using the images for comment/criticism.

It shall have to include “Playing the ‘playing the racism card’ card” and all similar guides to modern dickhead behaviour and language.

I have to say that this: http://enemiesofreason.co.uk/2011/01/27/butwhataboutthemen/
may be my absolute favourite. I second the “playing the ‘playing the racism card’ card” nomination as well. Hurray!

I don’t have any suggestions as to which posts to include as they’re all brilliant, but I think the book is a wonderful idea

Would it be possible to have a small corner of the book dedicated to pictures of Miliband looking like an idiot? Especially the confetti photo…
Otherwise I rather enjoyed ‘Rasists’ and that one a while back about the truth behind the woman kicked off the bus by “an immigrant bus driver”.
Hard to tell though, a lot of my favourites are the ones pulling apart the idiocy of any given article.

My favourite of yours has always been My Parcel Hell http://enemiesofreason.co.uk/2009/12/02/my-parcel-hell/
Awesome idea BTW.

Try to find the photos of Davd Millibean at the opening of Lambeth Academy in about 2004 so you can have a whole chapter on him.

We need *the picture*. Do whatever is necessary to have *the picture* included.

Completely blows your front page thing out, but the election time cross referencing of the bnp with covers of the mail, express and star is an absolute must! The post that alerted me to your blog and thus got me hooked

You could take a mix of posts like your guide to trolling over at the other blog (New Statesman? my memory’s shit this morning) and “playing the racism card card”, plus some new material and style it as a handbook on “how to be a twunt on the internets”.
