Whereas if you think: "Jesus Christ, are these awful boorish ruddy tits really the people who are going to be running the country in a year's time, not because they have any decent policies or anything approaching a vision for the country, but simply because we've decided that it's their turn, and our miserably pisspoor and rankly unfair electoral system will give them an enormous landslide despite the fact they'll probably only scrape about 35 per cent of the popular vote? The worst thing is that they are considered the presentable face of the Conservative Party.
If you zoom that photo out then sitting behind them are hundreds of people so appalling they make those three guffawing goons seem reasonable decent human beings. And that's truly frightening

The think that pisses me off most of all is that they are going to get in because the Labour party, the party that is meant to stand for Joe and Jo Blogs has fucked up so badly.
Even worse though is that when they get in there will be a wave of euphoria that we are rid of the current shower of shit only for 6 months later for people to realise that the conservatives are just as shit and then the door will swing wide open for the extremists.

Yes, it's priceless. And Letwin is supposed to be one of the more sophisticated ones… As for the other two, I remain convinced that Duncan is only in the shadow cabinet in order to make Osborne look down-to-earth and gentlemanly by comparison.

What can you do? Vote Liberal. It’s only because the Tories and Labour keep peddling propaganda that we never believe it is worthwhile voting Liberal. Break the two party system by choosing the third. The only thing stopping us is apathy.

It is all too easy to dismiss these chaps with some invective based on rhetoric and emotion. I will resist this urge, and instead give the following carefully derived argument as to why we should not welcome them in government.
