Fame at last!
After a couple of years of trying, I've finally got a comment published on the Mail's website! It's about how the evil BBC have decided to give top brass a pay freeze in the current economic climate. More in hope than expectation I put in my submission, but wait, it's only bloody there! (click for embiggen)

Just voted you up the rankings – nice one, especially as Dacre’s just trousered another huge pay rise.
It’s been a while since I’ve dipped into the Mail’s online comments – I’d forgotten what a venomous bunch of misinformed halfwits live there.
“British Bolshevik Corporation” – my sides have split….
Anyone who complains about having to pay their licence fee should be bound to a chair, their eyelids stapled to their eyebrows and forced to watch 24 hours non-stop ITV. And then spend another 24 hours having independent local radio blared in their ears.
Then they’d fucking appreciate the BBC.

I’ve actually had a handful or so put up but the golden egg is getting one on Littlejohn or Mad Mel’s column, without suggesting they should be seconded to the royal family or somesuch.

Bloody hell! Despite its generalistic approach, I’ve just got an anti-Smellyface comment onto Littlejohn’s latest offal…
“A couple of general comments: what IS this obsession with saying “elf ‘n ‘ safety” rather than “health and safety”? Is it some attempt at a joke? If so, then it’s a pretty obscure one. Also, I’m willing to wager that most of those heaping abuse on the HSE would be among the first to run crying to them if they ever suffered or were injured at work. Can’t have it both ways, I’m afraid. Also, to all of you ex-pats who write in to say how right Littlejohn is…you haven’t lived in the UK recently, so either come back here and find out the truth or shut up.”
How long till it’s either removed or recipient of circa 200 negative votes, I wonder?
