Let’s find ‘Abuislam’ and write him a polite letter

The one aspect to the Sun's disgraceful lies about UK Jews being targeted by militant Islamists I hadn't mentioned before was the 'Abuislam' connection. Tim has done sterling work over at Bloggerheads, detailing 'Abuislam' and his fishing expeditions on forums, often attempting to encourage posters into extreme reactions. Is he simply a troll or a fantasist? Or does the fact that it's claimed 'Abuislam' aka Richard Tims, aka who knows, is a 'freelance journalist' start alarm bells ringing?

Is someone attempting to stir messageboard posters up, in the hope that people will join him in extreme views, then making stories about how those evil Muslims are all extremists? Is this person a journalist? If they are a journalist, are they writing about their own alter ego's extremist views, as if they're representative of Muslim views, all the time knowing they aren't?

Who knows, apart from Abuislam/Richard Tims/whoever he or she really is?

All we do know is that 'abuislam' tried to take it a step further in the notorious Ummah thread:

abuislam: polite will not work. Target them with Demo's out-side their Home's and Business hit and run demo's showing and exposing their war crimes in their support (thumbs up).

Hmm. From polite letter writing it gets turned into 'target them with demos', from someone who appears not to be Muslim yet who keeps popping up on discussions about Muslim matters, intending to represent a voice of extremism. If this person really is a journalist, they should be hung out to dry.
