Beeb latest

Here we go then, the Beeb have been told off for another descent into the moral cesspit on the back of the hard-working British taxpayer:

A BBC radio show breached the Broadcasting Code after a comedian described Sarah Palin's son, who has Down's Syndrome, as "retarded", Ofcom ruled today.

Yep, I'd say that's a fairly pathetic comment. Horrible to call someone with Downs Syndrome 'retarded'; it's ignorant, childish and downright dumb. In many ways it's unpleasant to use the word 'retard' as an insult. I mean, it's not as if someone in the media would call Gordon Brown a 'retard' just because they don't like him, is it?

Oh, it is. Littlejohn did earlier this year.

Worth remembering, maybe, when the Mail launch their inevitable shitstorm at this story?
