More evidence of the BBC’s liberal-left bias
Look at this discussion about 'Britishness' on the Have Your Say forum.

Being British is embracing the diversity of this great country.
Every part of the World is represented here in one way or another. This is the largest melting pot in the World and we should be proud of it. Why?
Why, because it gives us the vital opportunity to see that we are all fundamentally different but culturally different at the same time. For centuries whole coutries have fought eachother for being different. By living together side by side we will see we are all the same...

Being British means getting ripped of by an incompetent government, who tax you to the hilt in order to try and cover the colossal amount of money they waste on a daily basis.
Being British means being the dumping ground for people who are cannot live in their own country, and having to pay to support these people whether we want to or not.
Being British means being told we have the right to free speech, so long as the words are government approved.
Being British sucks.
Bigotry is also a diversity, Multicultural Hellhole, United Kingdom
I like that phrase 'bigotry is also a diversity'. I'd add: 'racism is also a minority'. Not that you'd know it from web discussions like that, though...

‘racism is also a minority’
Is it though? Going to a decent school and a good uni and hanging round with generally pretty well educated people I’d always assumed so, but since I’ve worked in an office with a much broader selection of people I’m really not so sure. Just about everyone I work with has shown themselves to be racist in one way or another over the 2 years I’ve worked there. There’s no-one who you’d necessarily peg as being obviously racist but here and there the facade slips and you see the real prejudices they hold. I suspect a lot of these people wouldn’t be racist if they were better informed, but as it stands they believe the bullshit which the tabloids feed them and like most people judge far too much on isolated anecdotes.

Why is it the people who claim to ‘love this country’ are the ones that slag it off all the time and threaten to leave? The Daily Mail and Express are just one long rant about how Britain sucks.
