Whoops a daisy

From today's Hate:

Dr Stephen Rogers
On December 8 we published an editorial accompanying a news story which alleged that Stephen Rogers, a head teacher, had been in charge of a school when three teachers had affairs with female pupils.
We now accept that he was not in charge and apologise to him for the distress caused by this allegation.

Oh well, it's only a factual inaccuracy, isn't it? Thanks to the wonderful work of Paul Dacre with the self-regulating PCC, this measly apology will suffice. The fact it's four months after the original story, and is not very prominent at all, is of course of no concern whatsoever. What more do you want for a damaging and totally false accusation?
