Man convicted of ‘being brown and having been on an adventure holiday, he’s probably one of them so let’s bang the fucker up for a couple of years’
A relatively new offence on the books, this one. But one which Khalid Khaliq has been convicted of.
A man who knew some of the 7 July bombers has pleaded guilty to possessing an al-Qaeda training guide.
I want to know what's in this 'al-Qaeda training guide'. Sadly, we're not told. National security? I imagine so.
Khalid Khaliq, 34, admitted owning a CD containing the manual, which was found in a raid at his home in July 2005.
Did he even read it? Or just own it? And are we really at the point in this country where owning a book can get you banged up? If I bought a Bible tomorrow, and never read it, would that make me a Christian? If I bought a Haynes manual, would that make me a mechanic? I don't know what to make of this.
Khaliq, of Beeston, Leeds, was pictured white-water rafting in Wales with, among others, the 7 July bombers Mohammad Sidique Khan and Shehzad Tanweer.
Oh well then. Better safe than sorry. Go on an adventure holiday with someone who turns out to be a terrorist and you're in trouble...

1, though shall not support israel
2,though shall not admit you are english in public
3,though shall not speak out loud,to not offend other religions
4,though shall not aid or harbour any christians
5,though shall not mount hanging baskets more than a foot high
6,though shall not wave the flag of st george, for you will be a racist
7,though shall not read the daily mail, for the pit of hell awaits if you do.
