Bizarre to see some coppers stung by a hoax claiming that 'strawberry meth' was on sale to unsuspecting schoolchildren.
(Unsuspecting? Do me a favour. Only today's lazy children could be so brand-conscious that they wouldn't bother with ordinary crystal meth, and would only be excited by strawberry crystal meth).
It brings to mind cake of course, but also I have a dim and distant memory of a solemn school assembly in my youth, where I was warned about the evils of LSD tattoos, and how people were trying to hand them out at the school gates. I must have waited for four or five hours, but the buggers never showed up.
Ah well, just another one to file away in the folklore of school, next to Chelsea Smiles and exploding from drinking too much Coke.
