More Maddieballs in The Sun today, with yet another 'new witness'. Fuck me, if we add together all these 'new witnesses' that have popped their heads out of their arses recently, I think the entire population of the world must have been outside the window in Praia de Luz on 'that fateful night'. I must be the only cunt in the world who wasn't there.

Let's dive head-first into the well of shit, shall we.

MADDIE suspect Robert Murat looked sweaty, excited and breathless when he was drafted in as a translator by bungling cops the day after her disappearance, it emerged yesterday.

'Sweaty'. It was summer. In Portugal.

'Excited'. He'd just been asked to help the police with the most famous crime case in the country.

'Breathless'. He might have been walking fast. Or have asthma. Or something. Jesus wept, what the fuck is going on?

Here comes yet another piece of utter bullshit to try and put Robert Murat in the frame, as the Scum did a little while ago when nanny Charlotte Pennington suddenly remembered something about that night that happened to paint Murat in a bad light. A curious coincidence.

Anyway, let's carry on.

There's not much else to the Sun drivel, really, as it's basically re-writing something that had been in the Guardian before but emphasising the bits that talk about the McCanns' innocence and Murat's supposed 'shiftiness'. Classic Sun bullshit.

This comes just a day after the latest utter shower of shit to come from the McCanns' detective agency.

Within days Marco claimed Maddie had been smuggled to Morocco, even buying dolls for her, but it was a false lead.

Then last month he told BBC1’s Panorama he was “very close” to finding her.

Now in a new interview he has said: “We know who kidnapped her, but not where she is. God willing she’ll be back with her parents before Christmas.”

'Yes yes, we're nearly there, she's, er, just round the corner. Can we have some more money please? Yes, she's about half an inch away... nearly there...'

When will this shit end? When can we just get on with our lives without this having to pop up in every fucking newspaper ever until the end of time? When can I read something about this case that hasn't come flying out of the arse of someone determined to frame Murat in order to take the heat off the McCanns? When can I read something with actual journalistic integrity, with the facts checked, not just parroting some bullshit?

Not any time soon, it would seem.
